Reproductive Issues

Good sexual and reproductive health is important for women’s general health and wellbeing. It’s central to their ability to make choices and decisions about their lives, including when, or whether, to consider having children.

What causes reproductive issues?

Different life stages are associated with specific sexual and reproductive health issues, including menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, chronic health problems (such as endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome) and menopause. Reproductive issues can be caused by a wide range of factors such as hormonal imbalances and physical abnormalities.

According to Chinese medicine theory, our reproductive health is governed by our jing qi. Jing qi is the essence of our body; It’s what we inherit from our parents. Jing qi energy is housed in the Kidney. When jing qi is abundant, we are healthy and strong, however, when deficient, our reproductive health can suffer.

Our approach

To treat reproductive issues, our treatment protocol directly targets the energy imbalance responsible for the condition. Many of our treatments focus on treating the Kidney and Conception Vessel. We use a personalised diagnosis to form individualised treatment plans, with each treatment as unique as the patient we are treating. We strongly believe that with a personalised diagnosis, we give our patients the best chance at managing their conditions.
